JOEY MONSOON Artist’s Reception Friday October 2nd 2015 6-9pm For the past year Joey Monsoon has been working on his biggest project to date… literally. Feeling the constraints of the small panels he had been painting, Joey decided to go big, really big. For his next show Monsoon will present 7 large paintings done in oils, rather than his usual acrylics. He is also now using a palette knife to build up thick layers of paint which add an even greater emotional impact to his haunting, gaunt figures. Because of tremendous demand there will be no pre-sales before Oct. 1 at 6pm.
