It was 10 years ago that we had our first show in Columbus with Bill Miller, and over the years I have been amazed to watch his growth as an artist. For the past few years we have been showing Miller’s recycled linoleum bas-reliefs around the country and have not had a show at Lindsay Gallery since 2011. Please join us to welcome Bill back with all new work.
Janis Price was born in 1933 and is still actively painting in Newark, Ohio. Her memory paintings of rural Ohio have been displayed in shows from London to Tokyo and even on calendars and book covers. Despite her acclaim, every time someone buys a painting she is still surprised. “I just like to paint, and if somebody buys one, I’m just thrilled to pieces.”
In January of this year, Ohio First Lady Karen Kasich honored Janis Price as only the second featured Ohio artist at the Ohio Governor’s Residence. Please join us to meet a true Ohio treasure and see some of her paintings from yesterday and today.
